Summer Fun at Camp Clariden!
Come join us on our fun-filled summer adventure! At Camp Clariden, children experience the right balance of play and learning, meeting their need for downtime and time with peers in a safe, entertaining environment.
With summer enrichment programs in athletics, arts, academics, and fun, our campers have a daily opportunity to make new friends and explore new talents.

Preschool-Kindergarten Camps
Week 1 (June 6-10)
Enhance your child’s learning this summer with a week-long virtual trip to the ocean. Learn about the depths of the ocean and what lives below the waves. Be on the lookout for pirates as we make our way through uncharted waters!

Week 2 (June 13-17)
Come join us for a trek through the lush Brazilian Rainforest. Learn about plant and animal life below the various layers of the forest. Study snakes, anteaters, sloths and more! Get to taste delicious, rainforest snacks to keep your energy up as we voyage through this tropical world.

Lower School Camps
Week 1 (June 6-10)
Join us this summer for tons of challenging chess lessons, exciting games, and cool prizes. You’ll improve your chess skills, meet new friends, and work out your most powerful muscle – your brain! Our camp includes fun team chess games, outdoor play time (of course!), snacks, tournaments, and puzzles. Each camper receives a T-shirt, trophy, and puzzle folder. We include all the materials necessary for campers to participate.
Grades: Rising 1st – 6th

Come expand your beginning or basic sewing knowledge. This week will be spent refining skills and precision on projects including using zippers and buttons and will also end the week with learning to measure for clothing and making your very own pajama pants! Campers are encouraged to bring their own sewing machines. Machines are available for rental on a first-come-first-serve basis. Tuition will cover notions and most fabric. Campers will supply their own fabric for pajama pants.

Get ready to move your body and expend that energy! Campers will love all this camp has to offer, such as sports, dancing, and open play! Campers will spend the week working on balance, body movement, hand/eye coordination, and skill development through play tailored to their attention spans.

Week 4 (June 21-July 1)
Come explore reptiles as we look at lizards, turtles, snakes, and Ms. Westerfield’s favorites crocodilians and dinosaurs! We will learn about their habitats, survival, and the role that we play in protecting them as we learn through hands-on activities, crafts, and observations.

From art to engineering, 3D printing and modeling are powerful tools that can bring the imaginations of creative campers to life. In this summer camp, campers will learn how to operate a 3D printer and create 3D models using CAD (computer-aided design) software. Each camper will leave camp with custom models they have designed and printed themselves. Those that own or are interested in buying a 3D printer are encouraged to bring it for use at camp. Please see our FAQ section for more information on this.

Yes! We do not offer drop-in rates. All campers must register for a full week regardless of attendance.
We require all our campers to be bathroom independent. That includes no pull-ups.
Yes! Lunch is held from 12PM – 1PM and will be supervised by camp hosts.
Absolutely! Please note that non-Clariden students (with the exception of Clariden siblings) pay a different tuition rate than enrolled Clariden students.
Unfortunately, we do not offer drop-ins for our extended daycare. If you are in need of before or after care, you must register for the entire week regardless of what days you will need the service.
If campers are interested in purchasing a 3D printer and using at CAD & 3D Print camp, they will also learn how to operate and maintain their printer and leave camp with the confidence and abilities to bring their ideas to life at home. The two entry-level and fully capable printers that we highly recommend are linked below.
Those already in possession of a 3D printed are encouraged to bring it for use at camp as well.
Campers interested in Sew Ready will need to bring their own sewing machines. We have a limited supply available for a small rental fee. Additionally, campers will need to supply their own fabric for the pajama pants. This gives campers the opportunity to select any print they love.
“Rising” signifies the grade level the student will be entering into in the Fall 2022 semester. For example, if your child is not in preschool yet BUT WILL be in the Fall of 2022, they are a “rising Preschooler” and qualify for our Preschool-K camp programs (must be at least 3 years old prior to the camp beginning).

Tuition for camps is reflected in the program descriptions. Once you submit your camp sign-up form, you will receive an invoice from Clariden. Payment is due in full to complete your registration and hold your seat in the program.
