How real people said about Education WordPress Theme.
What a wonderful and nurturing environment for learning and growth. We moved here a few months ago and sent our five year old here and truly could not be happier.
We have just moved to Dallas from UK, which relocating is hard work alone. I cannot praise this school and all of the staff enough for the love, professionalism and devotion to each child as an individual. My 4 year old boy was assessed comfortably in a relaxed style and was in school 2 days later. If you are moving to the area I give you my word that you wouldn’t find a more loving and caring school that just wants to see your child learn and grow.
Never heard of project based learning til I learned about The Clariden School. In a few words, it’s just the best way to make the lessons permanent in a child’s brain. It’s hands on and up to date technology approach (they work with robotics and 3d printing!) keeps kids engrossed in the diverse activities that the school offers. My DD attends Pre-K only 3 days a week and she never ceases to amaze me with her growth in vocabulary and so many interesting subjects that could well challenge the game show “Are you smarter than a 5th grader”. Just 3 years old and she can write her name!! I also love how much they promote creativity and self expression and value the little differences that makes us unique individuals. But above all, love, joy and respect is spread throughout the year in every festival, theater play, holiday party, etc.. that makes this “little” school a HUGE part of our family. We extend our gratitude to our DD’s teacher, Miss Sabina Stone, for her remarkable work on the children and for her love towards them. Go Cougars!!!
Love this school! Kudos to Ms. Wells, the teachers and the administrative staff for creating the best atmosphere for kids to thrive in.
The Clariden School program for middle school is wonderful and my son has really thrived. He used to hate to go to school in the public system but now tells me he would rather be at school than home. Wonderful education, teachers, head teacher, environment and most of all makes learning an enjoyable experience for students.
I get asked all the time about why we choose private school when we live in a good school district. My answer is easy — the caliber of the curriculum has students constantly challenged to reach beyond their grade level, to innovate, problem solve, and develop critical thinking; to develop the confidence to actively collaborate in team projects, to know themselves and how to gain mastery and communicate that knowledge in ways that many adults can’t; in essence: to be academically prepared AND mature enough in their own self confidence to succeed in college and the innovation research & development careers ahead of them.
The Clariden School community has been instrumental in helping my daughter develop to her fullest potential, not just academically, but also socially and physically. My daughter loves Mrs. Myers and the warm classroom family, and is actually disappointed on weekends when she doesn’t get to go to school when she wakes up! In the Cougar Prep Pre-school, she has enjoyed lots of indoor and outdoor play-based learning, where she has learned to cooperate with classmates, practiced being in leadership roles, and used tons of imagination, all while getting the movement that her growing body needs to be healthy. The project-based academic program teaches math and literacy skills in such an authentic way, my daughter didn’t even realize she had become a reader until I pointed out to her that she was reading and writing real words. I work in the field of education and see schools across the country striving to achieve what The Clariden School does so well.
