Go on an Adventure at Camp Clariden

Come grow your skills this summer at our week-long day camps. Each week is a new theme with fun hands-on lessons and crafts. All supplies and snacks provided. Clariden staff you know and trust. Lunch available for additional fee. Must register for the whole week. No walk-ins. Campers must be potty-trained. The lunch hour is supervised from 12:00-1:00PM for those campers attending both morning and afternoon camps.

ALL CAMPERS MUST WEAR MASKS AT ALL TIMES. During the Spring/Summer semester the School will continue to adhere to the Fall Opening Plan regarding training, cleaning/disinfectants, hand washing etc., but will work towards opening the campus and expanding student opportunities as guidance from local health officials and the CDC allows. Camp Hours

  • Full Day Camp Hours: 9:00AM – 3:00PM
  • 1/2 Day Morning Camp Hours: 9:00AM – 12:00PM (3 hours)
  • 1/2 Day Afternoon Camp Hours: 1:00PM – 4:00PM  (3 hours)

Camp Pricing

  • Full Day Camp: $300 per child for ages 3-5, $350 per child ages 6+
  • 1/2 Day Morning Camp: $175 per child
  • 1/2 Day Afternoon Camp Hours: $175 per child

Extended Daycare

Optional Extended Daycare Is Available. Must sign up for full week.

3D PRINTING CAMP
RISING 4TH-6TH GRADE

From art to engineering, 3D printing and modeling are powerful tools that can bring the imaginations of creative students to life. In this summer camp, students will learn how to operate a 3D printer and create 3D models using CAD (computer-aided design) software. Each student will leave camp with custom parts they have designed and printed themselves. OPTIONAL – If students wish to purchase a 3D printer, students will also learn how to operate and maintain their printer and leave camp with the confidence and abilities to bring their ideas to life at home. The printer available for purchase is the Ender 3 Pro ($199.99 + $17.99 for PLA filament), an entry-level and fully capable printer perfect for any maker wanting to get into 3D printing.

RAIN FOREST CAMP

Learn all about the animals of the rain forest! Read about and develop your writing skills as we learn about the animals of the rain forest. Solve a rain forest animal mystery, make animal inspired art, create posters and more!

SEWING POWER TOOLS
RISING 4TH-12TH GRADE
FULL OR 1/2 DAY 9:00AM – 4:00PM OR 1:00PM – 4:00PM
$350 / WEEK
Fabric will be provided, but there will be a fabric supply list provided in case students want to customize their fabrics to their own taste. Machines will be provided, but if students have their own machine, they are encouraged to bring it to learn these skills on the tool. Projects  include a zipper pouch and learn sewing basics included installing a zipper. All notions (zippers, thread scissors, etc.) will be provided. Full day camp will complete additional projects such as fleece pajama pants, taking measurements, and understanding sewing patterns. We will also have some fun games, show and tells and snacks mixed in with breaks.

Week 5: Jul 12 – Jul 16

STEAM ADVENTURE CAMP **SOLD OUT**
RISING K-6TH GRADE

Adventure awaits! STEAM through our world and beyond this summer. Create your own work of art using Google Earth to inspire and lead us to our final destination. Discover how animals and plants adapt to the freezing temperatures of the Arctic Tundra – create habitats, play with blubber & ice, create infographics. Get “Monsoon-Proof” – test and decide which materials would be best for a roof and walls for a tropical home. Create alarm systems with switches and circuits. Survive on a desert island – make rope, build a shelter and tell time without a watch! Wrap up the week with rockets, constellations, calaxies, gravity coding & app design.

LEGO(R) ROBOTICS CAMP
RISING 5TH-12TH GRADE
FULL DAY 9:00AM – 3:00PM
$350 / WEEK

Students will use the LEGO(R) Mindstorms kits to create a robot base to work with all week. They will be able to make modifications to the design to improve the performance of the robot for certain challenges over the week. Each day will culminate in an engineering challenge to track progress. At the end of the week we will be holding a sumo-bot competition between all of the teams at the summer camp.

Rising Middle/High School Camps
