High School European Travel Cancelled

Hello Clariden Community:
I hope, despite the health climate in the world and nation, you are finding time to embrace those you hold most dear and are making great memories. I wanted to share a quick update with you:
  1. Based upon the message from the President this evening, we expect the high school student’s trip to Europe to be cancelled. We are in communication with EF Tours and will reach out to the families of our high school students once we hear back from them.
  2. I’ve reached out to Grand Classrooms regarding our middle school trip. I am waiting to hear back from them. Communication will be shared once received.
  3. The Board of Directors and I have met several times this week and are scheduled to meet again on Saturday. We continue to monitor the situation. We are working with the Tarrant County Public Health Department, medical and health experts, as well as with our accreditation agency.
  4. Our alternative instruction plan has been submitted to TAAPS. We are awaiting approval from them.
Please look for more communication as the week progresses. Stay safe!
All my best – Sallie
