School Data
The Clariden School is a unique private school serving children from age 3 through 12th grade. The Lower School is an AMI Montessori school through 6th grade and the Upper School is college preparatory and serves grades 7th through 12th. Clariden was founded in 1986 by Faye Williams, a lifelong Montessorian whose original Connecticut school was dedicated and visited by Mario Montessori and Haim Ginnott. Her dedication to the Montessori movement was the impetus for an invitation by the government of mainland China to bring information on the Montessori method to their country’s education leaders. The Clariden School continued this vision and incorporated the upper grades, celebrating its first graduating class in 2003. To date, the college preparatory Upper School has produced 25 graduates – 100% of which have attended college.
Clariden graduates have been admitted to US Naval Academy, Southern Methodist University, Austin College, Southwestern University, Texas Christian University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, University of North Texas, Baylor University, College of Santa Fe, Oklahoma State University, Southern Virginia University, Webster University, Stephen F. Austin University, Art Institute of Dallas, Cazenovia College, Mitchell College, Northwood College, & Tarrant County College.
