The Clariden School employs a child-centered approach to education at all levels and is dedicated to supporting each student in his or her academic, personal and social development. The faculty and staff enjoy a collaborative, supportive work environment, and foster these same attitudes among the students. Clariden teachers have a passion for learning, which is contagious. Individuals who identify with the qualities described above, and hold the following minimum qualifications are invited to explore employment opportunities with us.

Lower School Lead Teachers - Primary (age 3) through Upper Elementary (6th grade)

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited university
  • Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Diploma
    (Other teaching certificates or trainings will not fulfill this requirement.)
  • Non U.S. citizen must have a valid work visa

Upper School Teachers - Grades 7-12

  • Bachelor degree in content area from an accredited university (Master’s degree preferred) 
  • Experience with innovative lesson design and delivery

Specialty Teachers - Primary through Grade 12

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited university
  • Demonstrated proficiency in specialty area

Lower School Teacher Assistants

  • Bachelor degree from accredited university or completed hours in college course work
  • Experience in an educational or child-care environment
