Welcome to the Clariden School website! We hope you find the information on our website to be informative and that you are able to discover that the Clariden School offers a very special place for children to develop both intrapersonal and interpersonal skills.

The Clariden School is one of very few schools in the United States which offers on one campus, a Montessori program in its lower school program (pre-kindergarten through grade 6) and an upper school program (grades 7-12) with a college preparatory environment oriented toward life long learning. Some examples of Clariden's "Centers of Excellence" are the following:

• An effective, established lower school AMI Montessori program which reflects our commitment to an individualized approach to a child's total development.
• Flexible middle and high school programs which address more choice and autonomy in the adolescent's process of self-definition and promotes self-esteem through a curriculum designed to prepare students for college and life.
• Strong teacher-student relations, peer collaboration and self-directed, active pursuits in the classroom.
• Daily student school community responsibilities that address work ethics and self-reliance. A very safe, nurturing environment for students to work and play.
