What do Julia Child, Google Founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy, Amazon.com Founder Jeffrey Bezos, Princes Henry and William, Sean "P Diddy" Combs, Anne Frank, and author Gabriel Garcia Marquez all have in common? They all had the benefit of a Montessori education, like that offered at Clariden.
Our programs are designed to provide developmentally appropriate experiences at every level. We offer students exactly what they need, in the right amount and at the right time. At every level, whether during the school day or in our after school More to Learn programs, we take the individual's strengths, talents and interests into consideration to offer a truly personalized experience.
The Clariden Community, composed of students, parents, faculty/staff, Board members, and other friends of the school, is one of caring and respect. Students of all ages perform many hours of community services each year. Parents organize several special events to bring all members of our community together, at events such as the Family Picnic, Family Dinner and Dance, and the annual fundraising auction.
We are grateful for the continued support of our parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff and friends. It is through the dedication of the Clariden School of Southlake's community that our vision and mission continue to thrive today.
Upper School Global Strengths & Project Based Learning
The Global Strengths Program is designed to graduate students who will attend college or university as the world’s next contributing entrepreneurs, innovators and humanitarians. Because students will graduate into a world that is vastly different than when today’s adults were in school their education needs to reflect the future not the past. Our program is a unique blended learning experience that provides rigorous engagement to creative thinkers. We apply a project-based approach that blends with online learning. To the right is a video providing an overview of what Project-based learning is.
