Parents at The Clariden School are considered partners in learning. We take time to listen to and work with families as individuals in support of their child's growth. Because our approach is geared toward the future, we create ongoing learning experiences for our parents in the form of monthly book clubs, open door policies, quality parent education courses and a variety of volunteer experiences through our parent association, the CPO (Clariden Parent Organization).
The Parents' Association provides The Clariden School of Southlake with an avenue to perpetually support the school and its students by advancing the mission and values of the school. The Association offers every parent opportunities to be involved with school activities and provides a formal link to The Clariden School of Southlake.
The three key functions of this organizations are:
To enhance the school experience by providing support to classroom and school-wide events
To provide active volunteer participation for Clariden's fundraising efforts
To sponsor activities that foster community spirit
All parents of current students are members of the Parents' Association. No annual dues are required. The Parents' Association holds six regular general meetings during the school year that are open to all parents. The dates of the meetings are published in advance on the school calendar with no fewer than three of the six meetings being held in the evening at the school.
