What do Julia Child, Google Founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy, Amazon.com Founder Jeffrey Bezos, Princes Henry and William, Sean "P Diddy" Combs, Anne Frank, and author Gabriel Garcia Marquez all have in common? They all had the benefit of a Montessori education, like that offered at Clariden.
Our programs are designed to provide developmentally appropriate experiences at every level. We offer students exactly what they need, in the right amount and at the right time. At every level, whether during the school day or in our after school More to Learn programs, we take the individual's strengths, talents and interests into consideration to offer a truly personalized experience.
The Clariden Community, composed of students, parents, faculty/staff, Board members, and other friends of the school, is one of caring and respect. Students of all ages perform many hours of community services each year. Parents organize several special events to bring all members of our community together, at events such as the Family Picnic, Family Dinner and Dance, and the annual fundraising auction.
We are grateful for the continued support of our parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff and friends. It is through the dedication of the Clariden School of Southlake's community that our vision and mission continue to thrive today.
Welcome to the Clariden School of Southlake! We are the only nonreligiously affliated prek-12 independent school in the area. We are small, personalized and focused on engaging students in 21st century learning that will help them find success and happiness in their future. Our approach is based on what research tells us is working for children all over the world. We focus on challenging students by tapping into what sparks and holds their interests. We provide a sound foundation in the basics and rather than teach to the test, we put students to the test—the test of real world work.
Our approach is groundbreaking in that we do everything with the learner’s experience in mind. We believe that all children want to learn and should love going to school because school is a place where they feel inspired, challenge and respected as unique individuals who are growing up in a world that needs their contribution.
To keep students engaged and motivated, we have adopted a wholistic approach that begins in the pre-kindergarten and extends seamlessly through high school. We do this in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment with caring teachers who are well trained and dedicated to the craft.
We invite you to look around our website and explore both who we are and our exciting vision for the future of our upper school. We invite you campus to see for yourselves the premiere options we offer for your child. We look forward to answering your questions and making you feel at home.
"Clariden has helped me grow as a person. Because I was given the tools to succeed and given the confidence to aspire to great things, there are no limits to what I can become."
